Can i get pregnant when im on my period??

so i had sex with my husband a week before my period started and i know the sperm can last up to 7 days in your system,..my period is usually about 5-6 days long it was only 4 days long..so i was wondering if it was possible for me to be pregnant,...my period was on sept.23...

For my understanding, when you are ovulating, the eggs only survive 12 - 24 hours to wait to be fertilize.  If egg and sperm not meet, then we will have period.  but anything can be possible. just keep the hope.  wait until next cycle if you have your period or not.  if not, YOU ARE PREGNANT

although it is not common, it is possible to conceive whilst menstruating. if you are irregular and your cycle unpredictable you can ovulate during menstruation. i would think it highly unlikely though as it was before your cycle started.

Under good conditions the sperm can survive up to 3-5 days on average. Because you got your period, I doubt that you are pregnant.
