Can sperm live 2 days in uterus?

First, congrats to all the BFP's out there. Wow, this must be a lucky month!

I think I might have ovulated on Friday.

Bad news is I bd'd on Wednesday thinking I would ovulate on Thursday. Husband went out of town for work so haven't bd'd since.

We bd'd Wednesday at 10:30 p.m. and if I ovulated Friday id think maybe the sperm was still in there?

I've tried looking this up and have mixed answers as to how long sperm live.

My RE says they can live in the cervix for 5-7 days but not in the uterus for more than 24 hours.

I've heard in several places that it can live up to 72 hours uterus.  They also say that the male sperm are faster swimmers and get there first but aren't as strong as the female sperm that get there later and stay alive longer, so if you do get pregnant there is a good chance that it might be a girl.  Good luck!

Sperm can live in fertile cm for up to 3 or 4 days. However, the average is more realistic at 48hrs.
