Can u use LH detecting OPK to test for pregnancy?

Hi girls!I 'm on my 2ww, supposed to test on the 8th of June....I've been trying for about 10mths now and just had my first HCG trigger shot on the 25th. That means I'd ovulate around the 26th or 27th I suppose...So what I did (I really believe I'm becoming an obsessed freak here ) I took a clearblue digital opk that detects LH. It actually tells u ur LH surge...the problem is is that it was negative today( June 2nd, 7dpo)...does anyone know if that indicates something in pregnancy. I read 2 contradicting things:
1) it helps sustain the corpus luteum until it starts producing progesterone
2)Progesterone inhibits LH and FSH production:( But I guess it may not be all that contradictory cause it may happen at a later stage...)

So in this case: what stage would i be ? I would say ...the latter? I just haven't really got a clue, all I'd love to know is if it can be indicative of a pregnancy or not...Thanks to all and lots of baby dust to all o you!
