Celexa Bad Seamen Analysis Report?

Low Sperm Count / Low Motility / High Abnormal Morph

28 Year-Healthy Male-Physically Fit

Got a semen analysis done and I think it looks bad. Sperm Count 4x10e6/ml-Motile 44%- Abnormal Morph 95%

I started taking Celexa 5 days prior to the test.  Can that have anything to do with it?   Do I need to see a urologist?  If Celexa is not the cause what else can it be?

I am now pregnant after IUI when DH had only 4% normal morphology (and 0 normal motility before washing). After washing we got 15% rapidly forward motile and 14% normal morphology.

Very important to keep the boys cool as this can have a big impact on them.  Eat a healthy diet with plenty of fresh veges and fruits.  Keep away from soy and highly processed foods.

Soy has estrogenic / hormonal effects and could affect your boys.

Yes, also see a urologist.  Sperm take about 2 months to be produced so celexa a few days before the test should not make any difference.

good to repeat the semen tests. also save semen for 3 days and then go for the test. not a bad idea to see a urologist. they might ask you to go for some tests and scans. how about the white blood cells count in the test?
