Cervix still high and soft after O?

I'm 6dpo today, and of course am checking my CP and CM each day. My cervix is still high and soft. Also, when I felt today, I noticed that my cervix is now tilted back now, so when I felt with my finger, I couldn't find the opening. After reaching as far as I could possible reach, I finally found it pointing toward the back and really high up. Why is this? I never checked my cervix when I was pregnant before, so I don't know if it did this then or not. Just wondering why it hasn't moved back down and firm yet. And why in the world is it tilted back now?!

I have found that checking your cervix doesn't really fall on the scale as good signs (or signs at all ) Good Luck!

thanks for the reply. I'm new with ttc, so I haven't been so sure about what all to check. I don't know much about checking my BBT, and basically this is really all I'm very familiar with. What are the most credible checks to do on urself?
