Characteristics on 5 dpt with donor embryos

Question

What are the typical (if there's a such thing) characteristics on a 5 dpt with donor embryos?  One embryo was of high/excellent quality and the second embryo was okay. My pregnancy test is next Friday.  I'm really nervous, yet hoping for a BFP.

Hi,.dont be discouraged .I know its tempting to do the hpt ..I did 12 of them in my 2WW but its still early .try to test (if you reallly want too lol?) on Thursday it will give you a better indicator. Good luck and my thoughts and prayers r with you:) Stay positive

I appreciate the push big time.   I gave in today at 8dpt and of course tested again (but because I shouldn't have and got a negative.  I am hoping its still too ealy an ill get positive results on Friday.  It does make me wonder though.

Try not to test.its sooo disappointing to get a bfn.And sometimes it just takes a while for the HCG to show......lots of baby dust flying over your way:) Hope you will get your BFP ON friday!!!!!!!!! take care and try to relax

Thanks for your encouragement.  It's now day 8 post transfer and I'm still curious though I've not tested again.  VERY TEMPTED though.  I feel great.  No more cramps, but lots of night sweats.  Weird!!!  Not sure what that is about.  Well, after Sunday, it'll be 5 days til my bloodtest.  I so pray for a BFP and hope to report something wonderfully affirming in a several days.

Yeah 5 dpt is still very early. AND Clear Blue Digital's a great because they give you a clear pregnant/not pregnant result, BUT they're not as sensitive as some other HPTs. The most sensitive one is probably FRER (First Response Early Results). 

Guess I should add that my IVF was not a donor cycle either...but it shouldn't matter :-)

I tested 7dpt and got a faint bfp but I did not use donor eggs.  You will get your bfp!!

I was so anxious ... TOO ANXIOUS ... that I went to the store and purchased a Clear Blue Ditigal HPT.  I got a BFN.  However, it is only 5dpt an I was already told that doing it at about 10 dpt or 11 dpt would be best.

Oddly enough, I don't feel as horrible as I thought I would.  I definitely feel less anxious.  I still have hope for my prego test next Friday.

Has anyone ever tested so early and got a BFP??? Curious.

Well, at 7 dpt, I felt some dull cramps that I thought I recognized, so I tested the next morning and that's when I got the faint line. But other than that, I really didn't have any major symptoms this time...which is weird, because I've had two miscarriages in the past (natural pregnancies), and both times I had more symptoms than I did this time...and I was even on extra hormones this time (IVF)! So I guess it's true what they say that every pregnancy is different. I hope you get to celebrate a BFP in a week or so too!

Yeah, I totally understand! It seems like suuuuch a long wait! Just don't be tempted to test quite yet, though. I tested at 4 dpt and got a BIG FAT NEGATIVE...only to get a faint line four days later at 8 dpt!

Thanks for your well wishes.  The wait is killing me.  Even at work, all I've thought about was "pregnant or not."  I'm so tempted to buy a HPT and find out.  Anyway, I'll keep the faith.
