Charting--what does this mean?

What does it mean when you have the exact same temp 3 days in a row?  Is it just a wacky thermometer?

hi jtd........i had the SAME thing this cycle. i read that it could be a dying battery in your thermometer, so i went and bout one of those kind u stick in your ear. i am now getting a range of temps instead of so many same ones in a row..

who knows tho...........but if it keeps up it could be the batt!

I get the same temps occasionally. The most days in a row were 3 for me. If it keeps up, I'd double check it with another thermometer like Baby Vol said. It does happen every now and then, though.

I think...tht if you get the smae temp tomorrow you should get a new battery.  It is not unheard of the get the dame temp a few time in a row.  I have heard the ear thermometers are not as relaible due to user error.  No sure if that is true or not.  

Here is a question.  I have a 25 day cycle and am on cd 17 ---7 dpo.  When should I notice a change in my chart weather it be the implatntnion dip or just af dip? B/c right not it just seems to be going up and I know it is too early to test.

If anyone care to take a ganer I think this should get you to my chart.  Let me know if you have any promblems getting there.

Your chart looks really good--nice high temps that are rising!  

As for implantation dips--I'm not sure if they even truly exist or not.  I mean, yes, I think some people get them, but they are not necessarily the "norm" for a pregnant chart.

I didnt even temp this morning--I was back in my college town for a banquet and didnt even go to bed until 4 am!!! YIKES!!  I got 6 hours of sleep, but I didnt wake up until 10am!

I changed the battery in my thermometer, so maybe I'll temp in the morning just to see what it does,  Tomorrow is CD 30 for me, 13 or 14 DPO.

Yeah, I'm not sure "implantation dips" are really that reliable either. I've had a dip like that during several cycles without being pregnant, and the time I did get pregnant while charting (sadly ended in a miscarriage), I had no "implantation dip". So the main thing is just that your temps stay above your coverline.

Oh, and JTDs Mom, are you planning on testing anytime soon? I'm 14 dpo today and no AF yet, but still no symptoms either. I actually have my annual papsmear tomorrow morning....hopefully I don't get AF when I wake up :-)

This cycle has been so weird for me.  I have sore bbs, but in a different way and in different spots.  I have more Cm too.  I changed my diet and I wonder if that is the difference.

Yeah, I am getting close :-) My luteal phase is usually 14 or 15 days long, so I'm expecting AF tomorrow or Tuesday. If no AF tomorrow morning, I think I'll take a test. It would be good to know - either way - before my appointment.

Sore bbs sounds like a good sign! And your chart is looking good too! Hopefully it all adds up to a BFP in a week or so!!!

Oh--I might have to break down and test at home!  Even though I really wanted to wait until Thursday when I go to the doctor, I just dont know if I can do it!

Last month the trigger shot stayed in my system for 16-17 days.  Today is 17 days past trigger, so I'm pretty sure if I test tomorrow I'll get an accurate result (tomorrow will be 15 dpo as well).  

I'll just see if I can hold out or not--I have no pregnancy tests in my house, so I'd actually have to make an effort to go out to buy one.

I havent temped for 2 days because I think my thermometer might be broken--I had flat temps for 3 days straight!  I actually switched out the battery in my BBthermometor with a regular thermo. but had a weird temp this AM too. This morning I took my temp and it was really low--like 97.1 or someting crazy like that.  So I immediately took it again and it was 97.74 or something like that.  So, I think my thermometor is just piece of ****!

I wouldn't worry about it. My temps were the same during the first part of my cycle almost every day!  And it would only vary just a tiny bit when it wasn't exactly the same!
