Chasteberry???

I have endometriosis.  I typically have very frequent, very painful periods (multiple periods per month).  However,  I've been stressed the past few months and have no period, since March 14.  But, I have had pain.  I have been trying to get pregnant for the past several months with no luck.  I constantly take home pregnancy tests, thinking something might have slipped up on the previous one, only to find out that, it too, is negative.  I read about chasteberry a couple days ago, and picked some up at the vitamin shoppe.  I am hoping this will start my period, because my OB-GYN gave me some fertility drugs to take once I have started my period.  However, now I wonder if I should take chasteberry right before I take Clomid...and if i can take chasteberry, how long do you think it will take to start my period?  Ive only been taking chasteberry for two days, so if there are any nasty side effects i should know about, please let me know.

Thanks :) I went and picked up another HPT and it was positive.  I'm concerned that the chasteberry might have some negative affect on the baby.  I only took it for three days though...do you think there will be a problem

I wouldnt take the chasteberry because it's really used to relieve the symptoms of pms (such as pain) and you are probably having trouble with ovulating.  I have endometriosis and was experiencing your problem.  My last period was March 19th, I took a pregnancy test on April 21st to find I was pregnant (I just miscarried Saturday).  I also read that women with harmone problems shouldnt take chasteberry and endo is a hormonal problem.  I think you should take one more test and if negative, tell your doc that you may be having difficulty ovulating and he or she can prescribe you meds that can get it started.
