Checking Follicles

Hi,
Sorry if this is a stupid ?, but when they do the U/S before the IUI do they use a "wand" type of instrument that is used internally (vaginally) or do they just look with the usual device you see them use on preggo woman? I am going to have mine checked tomorrow morning.

They should do an internal u/s.  At least that is what my Re always did.  Hope this helps!

they will do the intravaginal u/s.  i don't think they can see much using a transabdominal at that stage.  That is usually for 2nd trimester if I remember correctly!
