Chemical Pregnancy - is this a sign?

I'm having a very odd cycle this month.  I just got my pd on tues, and noticed small blood clots as well as stretchy cm (sorry tmi, but concerned), with some tissue like matter.  This month the only symptom I had was sore bb.  My cramps are not menstrual, but more like ovulation.  My period is not very heavy but nor is it light.  This month I will be having my first IUI w/clomid, so I go into tomorrow for day 3 b/w and blood test.  My question(s) is:  Has this happend to anyone?  Could this be a chemical pregnancy (my period was right on time)?

I would really like to know as I'm really excited about finally getting an IUI, and don't want to anything to intefere.

Did you do POAS? Chemical pregnancy are very common and pass unknow because you do get your period around the time it was suppose to...If you just want to make sure, just ask for some blood work.

thanks.  I have a appt tomorrow for bloodwork tomorrow and will ask the dr to check.  I hope it wasn't a chemical pregnancy, but it would be good to know I can get pregnant.
