Claritin and TTC

I am 4 or 5 DPO today and have had a nasty allergy/cold pop up on me!  I'm wanting to take some Claritin to help with my runny nose and itchy throat, but can you take antihistamines (other than Sudafed) when possibly pregnant?

I've been taking Sudafed which has done nothing to help!

For now it would be ok, since it's too early for implantation yet. Sudafed is the only congestion med on my safe sheet. If you do get a bfp later in the cycle, I would discontinue unless a dr oks it. For now though, it's fine.

I don't actually know about those in particular but there's a GREAT web site and phone number where you can ask all these sorts of questions.  It's linked to Sick Children's Hosp. in Toronto.
The site is www.motherrisk.com
I don't know the number but it'll be on there.
I haven't actually had to ask them any questions myself so far but I've been told that if you call it's much better because they apparently take a long time to reply to emails.
Hope it helps
