Clear discharge after egg retrieval

After my egg retrival, my body started discharging this clear liquid.  The liquid (about a spoon full) would come out randomly and I couldn't control it.  I told my doctor about it and she told me not to worry.  It continued through my embryo transfer and after.  Unfortunatly, I didn't get pregnant.  I had gone through in-vitro twice before(with no clear discharge) and conceived both times, with one ending in a beautiful baby boy.  I can't help but think this clear discharge played a factor in me not getting pregnant in my third in-vitro.  Does anyone know what this is or has anyone ever had it?  I am currently going through in-vitro again and still unclear of what went wrong last time. Looking for answers!

I got a BFP.  My HCG level 11 days post transfer was in the 400's.  My HCG level 14 days post transfer was in the 2000's.  Maybe Twins? Either way I am sooo HAPPY:).

Yes, the progesterone supplement I was on was a vaginal insert, and I did get pregnant (I'm now 28 weeks)...so it didn't seem to have a negative effect on me at least. Best of luck with everything!

Yes, it was watery.  When you say "progesterone supplement" is that the same as progesterone vaginal inserts.  I am assuming you got pregnant, and this discharge didn't affect anything.  Maybe it didn't affect me either, it was just not the right time.

Was it kinda watery? If so, I had that too. I believe it's from the progesterone supplements, because it continued until 11 weeks when I stopped taking them. I used crinone at night, and I usually noticed it the following morning...just like a little gush of clear discharge...and like you, i couldn't really control it.

I'm sorry to hear about your failed cycle, though... Hopefully this new one will be the one for you!
