Clomid / odd cycle

I recently finished 1st round of clomid (dec 23rd last day - day 9)
- after two ultrasounds there are a few cysts (so no clomid for a month) and on day 20 i started bleeding - i thought it was my period but my dr. said she's not sure so my question is such a short cycle common and if it's not, why am I having that level of bleeding....

I've never used clomid, so I'm not sure...but I just thought I'd bump up your question so other will see it :-) I hope your cysts will resolve themselves quickly, so you can start TTC again! Best of luck!
