Talk2mutch,
It has not been confirmed that I have PCOS but I have all the symptoms of it.
My doc knows but it seems he is not to concerned about it right now.
Do you suffer from Pcos????
Lol for sure! Just keep your thought positive and be patient! I am hoping for you!
Hi,
Thanks for the comment! I figured it would be better to take at night so I wouldn't get all the side effects during the day at work!
This is my first round of clomid, so lets hope my hubby can perform on demand. But I am trying to think up some ways to make it easier! I don't want to be like "hunny, i'm ovulating, let go NOW!"
LOL
Before bed take clomid!!!!!! I too am also on round 6! Last 2 pills tonight. My side effects were much worse taking in the morning! Also my partner has a hard time performing on demand and last month we missed our iui cause the doc booked us for 730am then he had to go for surgery so he couldn't wait for us and my poor guy could get his sample soon enough! I am delighted to read everyones comments and see that I am not alone!
We did the Sperm Analysis right away and the Doc called me on Friday! Good News, My Husbands swimmers are fast and he has lots of them.....
I am currently now on CD2 I will be starting Clomid CD 5-9... My question is, when is it better to take clomid? Morning or before bed?
i would say do the hsg and sperm analysis right away!! I wish I did. Ive been trying for 1 1/2 years and on clomid for past 6 rounds.
Thanks for all the info!
My doc wants to do a HSG on me also but we are gonna wait a couple of months (or not have to at all) hopefully my luck is up and i will get preggers the first round.
I'll put in my two cents worth since im starting round 6 of clomid. Track your temps!!! its really tells you alot about your cycles and will tell you if you've actually o'ed. It seems like a pain to do every morning but after a while it just becomes a part of your morning routine. I don't even notice that i do it anymore. For me i know i don't O until cd19-21 so I dont bd until cd 15, 17, 19, 21, 23 . Bd everyother day is fine (you dont need to everyday. It will feel like a job after a while. My hubby finds it hard to "perform" on demand so to speak. Emotions run high on clomid. headaches, sore bbs, cramping etc... Im lucky i dont get any other than a couple hot flashes. Most ppl do opks twice a day however most O in the afternoon. and last but not least - resist the temptation to test early!!! wait until at least 12-14dpo before you test - it can become very expensive and rally run your emotions into the ground getting bfn.
I will be getting my hsg test done next week so hopefully that will help me this cycle and make my super bean stick!!!
Good luck to you all.!!!!
Faith - Thanks for the advice. My doc said to start using the OPKs the day my period ends, BD day 12-20 every other day. Im sure we will BD before that too...LOL
CA25 - You are more then welcome to jump into the thread at anytime!
sorry to jump in on thjs thread....lol but I just took an opk and its a ligth line but a lil darker... I am going to buy some more opk tests friday....
but I am just not feeling it this month.. the weather changed and its cold lol!
lynniepooh..i wil give u a suggestion..once u finish the clomid use opk's...and when u see the line progressing bd every otha day....then when u have a peak bd 3 days in a row..too much bd prior to a peak makes bd seem like a job..and u get tired of it...enjoy it and an orgasm is a +..ssbd
Faith - well i guess it was just a fluke! it didnt happen again.
I am now off Provera and waiting on my Period. I am having some menstrual cramps so im sure it will be withing the next 7 days. Then clomid and lots of BD
:-)
i hopes it does get better for u...and u can have a regular cycle
I'm thinking since I am feeling some cramps that because I had to tinkle it made it worse! who know! if it doesn't happen again then I won't worry about it.
lynnie--well could have been lots of bladder pressure..idk...not really sure...so i suggest u keep track of that..
Faith - now im not on the clomid yet but last night around 4:30 i got up to pee and my right ovary area was hurting really bad, the pain slowly went away as i was urinating. never had that before and it wants like i had to go really bad either.....stange
I hope your cramping goes away and your feeling better soon
Lynn
lynn-i meant to tell u yesterday cd 16..i was cramping like omg call 911..the left ovary pains got horrible..i mean unstoppable..took half ibprofen..hardly helped.lasted all night kept me up.uterus area cramping as well..today i only had mild on n off cramps in uterus area...however i did not bd last night..i was in pain..n bf n i really are tired of it..n just decided if we miss it this cycle then next cycle we will bd like we havent seen each other in years..lol
lynniepooh thanks sooo much:)
I'm on my first clomid cycle with IUI. I am CD 4, and taking clomid 100mg CD 1-5. So, almost done with the clomid. I go in CD11 for u/s and then begin using OPK's. I did IVF in May, but this is my first IUI and the first time taking clomid. Good luck to all of us!!
lynnie-i felt the same way..but i have read a number of threads where women not getting a + til late in the cycle like cd twenty something..also some women never get a + opk yet they still o n have became preggo..so do not give up sweetie:)Ssssbbbbdddd
I am also worried about the opk working!
SSBD to you too!
Hi ladies,
thanks for the comments! I have had a headache and breast tenderness...oh and very tired from the provera. I am on day 4 of 7 for that. then wait for a period, then CD5-9 take clomid. I hope I don't have horrible side effects from that.
My husband made his "donation" so we will find out the results in like 5-6 weeks when the doc wants us to come back. He owns his own business so if i am ovulating he will be around. My only problem is next month because if my cycle stays normal and goes as plan(or the way i hope it will) should be in town to "make a baby" before he leaves for a week.
Doc took blood when i was there so i assume he will be testing all my levels. I have symptoms of PCOS but have not been diagnosed with it....yet.
