Clomid and IUI

My husbavd and i have tried IUI 2x's and IVF with no luck.  My RE has decided to try 50mg of clomid and IUI.  In the past I have always taken 100-150 mg.  I am a little worried .  Has anyone ever tried this?  especially with such a low dose of clomid?

hi i also did 3 failed IUIs and i just did IVF, still pending. But i know there is one lady on here willsmom is her screen name, and she had been on higher doses of clomid and didn't get pg with IUI. Then I think she went to a different doc and they lowered her clomid dose, and she got pregnant with twins! So i think sometimes the lower dose is better. Good luck.

I think she also changed the days she was taking it.  I think she switched to cd 5-9, but I can't remember for sure.. If you post a thread to her she will probably respond..
