Clomid and Insurance?
I have heard some horror stories about clomid and insurance. Anyone had trouble with that? I know a lot of insurances won't cover
infertility

treatments but pregnancy would be covered if a baby was conceived after insurance, right?

Yes, your insurance covers the birth of your baby, even if you used
infertility

tx to have the baby.
So your maternity bills and nursery bills should be covered, in general.
Some ins won't cover
routine
Routine sputum culture
well baby nursery care, but most do.
However, if you ahve an individual policy vs one through your employer group it may not cover maternity.

treatment. So drugs like clomid aren't covered. But posibily femera would be. Femera works like clomid. cheapest
place to get clomid is at costco.

The clomid is not very expensive. my insurance didn't cover it, but it didn't really hurt to pay out of pocket for it. If they put you on prochieve also that one is $250.00. I wish insurace would cover it!
