Clomid and Robitussin

I read somewhere that having one teaspoon of Robitussin is sometimes recommended by doctors to help cervical mucous for women that are on Clomid..... since clomid can make cm more difficult for sperm to travel through. My question is if u drink the robitussin on the five days that u take the clomid or u begin taking it after the clomid...would appreciate the help. Thanks.

Funny, this cycle I used guaifensin for about 5 days..til yesterday (ovulation) I took 2-4 100 ml per day & this is the fist month I had very little CM!!!!!!!  I don't know if it was pure coincidence or what!!!!  Very strange!  I took Gonal-F, not Clomid.
Maybe it did the opposite on me?  I don't know???
