Clomid effects on BBT and CF

Hi, I'm new to the site.  We have been TTC for 1 yr.  The dr put me on clomid CD5-9 this month and my temps have been really high.  I am on CD12 today - took an OPK this morn and it looked to be positive but my CF is much less this week- totally different than normal. Wondering if I'm ok??

I heard a lot of women complain that Clomid can dry up your cervical fluid and some women didn't have a problem at all.  I don't know about how it affects your BBT though, so sorry I couldn't answer that.  But since you say your temps have been higher, could you have ovulated earlier than expected?  And have you been tracking your BBT all cycle?

It hasn't changed my temps, but I have read where it does drastically for some women.

My temps are usually around 97.6 - 97.8 but while on clomid they were 98.4- 98.8.  on CD10 they came back down and then today back to 98.  It's just so confussing.  I heard about the CF dyness and tried plain Robitussin to help but honestly I don't know if that helped or made it worse.  It's suggested to take Tussin  2 tps 3x day 4 days before you O and then 2 days after - not sure if I should still take it on not.
I usually O on day 13- so who knows???

Did you make sure you took the right Robitussin?  If you took the wrong one then yeah, it could make it worse.  I think you have to take the one that has NO letters behind the name, I know it usually has the word Guaffaneisen (sp) in it somewhere.  The wrong kind could dry you up as opposed to increase your mucus.

Yes, I did hear it must be plain Tussin so I did make sure of that and the only active ingredient is Guaifenesin.
