Clomid effects

Just a quick question, Im currently on day 19 of my cycle and have just finished my first round of clomid(50mg) that was taken on day 1 to 5. My question is did anyone else feel bloated and get hot flashes (like my face was on fire!!) from day 14 onwards???

Hot flashes and bloating is very common. I tried taking clomid at night and felt much better as you sleep through most of it. Never felt face on fire but did have some heat related issues, especially while sleeping. It caused me to overheat at night and have bad bad dreams.

I'm not sure what cd it was, but yes my face got soo hot sometimes on my first try. I'm starting my 2nd trial of clomid on tues. My dose is going up from 50mg to 100mg. I really hope my symptoms don't get worse.

I was taking clomid (100mg)  at night as well...so you sleep off most of the side effects :) i did get the bloating and hot flashes...and was nauseous the whole month...am taking a break from it this month and feel much better ...with none of the bothersome side effects..

hope you feel better next cycle ! i've also heard that your our body takes a little ti,e to adjust to clomid and later cycles are a little easier...
