Clomid first round???

Hi Everyone,

I started with clomid on November the 17th due to the fact that my ovulation test was extremely low it was 0.90. However on December 7th i went back for blood work test and said i was at 11.50 and i am very confused does it mean i could be pregnant?

Hey! Im on my first round of Clomid as well!! I went for my progesterone level check today to see if I ovulated...and I will find out on the 20th a) if I ovulated & b) if im pregnant...I believe the increase in number just means that u did ovulate,  doesn't guarantee ur pregnant...but we'll see!! Hi! Im on my 2nd round of clomid, 1st round was 50mg days 3-7 and my progesterone was 5.6 (super low) now I am on 100 mg days 3-7 and I test on 12/22, i did get a positive OPK on 12/11 so we will see if the blood test confirms the "O", my doctor said a 12 reading on progesterone would indicate ovulation so it sounds like you did!! :) Good Luck!

I actually just got my period on the 17th so i will start my 2nd round of comid but they have increased it to 100mg and given me metformin to help increase my chances hopefully this month will be the month and Good Luck to you both !! :)

Hi..I did my first clomid cycle 50mg last month with no changes, I did not ovulate. I'm on Primolut N for 3 weeks 3 times a day then starting my 2nd round of clomid 100mg. So I'm excited but nervous, fingers crossed that 2nd round work. All the best for you all!

how did your 2nd round of clomid go?

Well i also just started my 2nd cycle of clomid 100mg on monday days 2-6 im on day 5 at the moment, so im excited but a lil nervouse aswell, really dont want to get my hopes up but i feel like this is my year and month hehe...
just a lil about me, me n my husband ttc for the past 3 years n april.  Did my first clomid  50mg cycle Nov just gone, with no changes. Ive had irregular periods since i was 12yrs, n this was genetic because my mum, aunties, grandma all had the same problem. thats all for now lol

Hi Elisa,

Sorry just seen your message...Well if there was no changes the first month don't be dissapointed maybe this 2nd round of clomid well increase your chances just have lots of faith and this will be your year maybe you should ask your Dr about Metformin that may increase your chances. I feel the same way since my husband and i are ttc for about 2yrs and this is the first year i will try on meds.I've had irregular periods too but my Dr gave me Provera to regulate it and it did hopefully Primolut N well help you with irregular periods.I started my 2nd round of Clomid on Dec i already went for a Progesterone level blood work test on thursday and will get my results back on Monday. The nurse advised me that if it was higher than 20 i could be pregnant but i don't want to get my hopes up either but i will most definetly let you know what happens.Let me know how 2nd round of Clomid works for you GOOD LUCK and hopefully this month you will get a BFP!!

Hi ladies!

I - like you - started my first cycle of Clomid (50mg) in Nov '10 - currently on 2nd cycle and awaiting appt for HSG (Feb time) to check for blocked tubes. My first cyle of clomid - had LH surge test on day 21 - was 2.9 so no ovulation - will get blood tests again this month on 13th to see if happens this time. Still on 50mg and wont be increased til after the HSG. Believe you have to have a result of 30+ to confirm OV and successful pregnancy.  I'm new to the forum (and the diagnosis of infertility!) so would be great to hear your stories and how you all get on....
