Clomid help!!

every since i first got AF it has always been irregular.  I got pregnant 2 1/2 years ago with my son after coming off of BC pills.  We have been trying for baby 2 with no luck.  I decided to start taking clomid to help us conceive.  My question is: I have an irregular peroid and spotted with light pink discharge for 2 days in a row.  My OBGYN told me to start the clomid on the 3rd day, and now I have not had anything since.  Will this mess with our chances of trying to concieve (conceive) this month?  I thought  
I had to wait for AF to completely arrive?  I am starting it when my doctor said to, but I have doubts that I should have!  Help!!

Well any chance your 2 days of spotting was implantation bleeding?  I would talk with your dr. As far as I know you do need to wait for you period to start, not just spotting, but for your period.  Maybe your dr. misunderstood and thought you were having a period.  I would call her/him.

No, because I had spotting several days last week also.  I talked to my dr. and they wanted me to start it last week(clomid), but I told them that I wasn't suppose to start till this week.  I explained to them exactly what was going on with the spotting, and thats when they told me to start on day 3 of this week.  I am confused as to how this will effect me if i don't start, and have already done my 5 days of clomid.  I called this week to see about taking med. to get AF to come, even though I had spotted, and thats when they told me to just start the clomid.  Thanks

Hmm...well they must know more than us I suppose.  I would trust their judgement.  Are you using OPK's?

yes, i took one this morning (clearblue) and it said that i am O.  I thought that i would not O until after AF.  I took a preg. @ the start of the week, and it was neg.  I have no clue, just hope it happens.  Wish this time was as easy as the first baby.
