Clomid schedule

Has anyone ever been on a round of clomid where they took it twice in a month? I was given clomid CD3-7 n when CD13 U/S showed many small follicles on both ovaries, doc gave me two more days of clomid on CD13 and 14. Did another U/S CD17, which showed one big follicle.. which il now be tracking with an OPK.
btw, this is round 2 for me.. with 100mg clomid.
