Clomid...now what?

After TTC for about 10 months we finally conceived but miscarried within a week of finding out (DR called it chemical pregnancy).  So That was about 4 mos ago.  Still TTC right now.  Charting BBT and CM (along with prgesterone testing) showed that I"m not ovulating regularly....so I've been prescribed Clomid when my period comes.  Still waiting for my period ...on Day 38 already..=(

What can i expect while on clomid?  Anyone in the same boat as me where they were not ovulating regularly and was then prescribed Clomid?  What was your experience?  How soon after on Clomid did you get your BFP?

I to have not been ovulating. I have been ttc for 7 months now and not once have I ovulated. So my dr put me on clomid I am on my second round. My first round was ok I didnt have any symptoms. I also didnt ovulate still. But this cycle My period was horrible! I had bad cramps and thats not normal for me. And I was so tired I didnt want to get out of bed in the morning. some people have hot flashes. Its different for everyone. I hope this is my month. Good luck!

usually they start you on 50mg clomid and if ovulation doesn't occur then they will increase the dosage until you ovulate with it and if you make a good size follicle then then may trigger ovulation with an ovidrel shot other wise generally you will move onto injectable follicle stimulating hormone (FSH).. good luck and try not to stress,

We've been TTC for about 12 months now.....and just got the Clomid.  I'm anxious to get started...but still no period yet.....arg!  Might have to call the OB/GYN to get the period "jump started" or something...

your OB?GYN will most proberly prescribe provera to "jump start" you, good luck

i had irregular cycles and was not able to pinpoint my ovulation time properly so was put on clomid (100mg @ days 3-7). it did regulate my cycle and helped in steadying the ovulation dates...
but my periods got very light and very crampy...and I have a strong feeling that it thinned my endometrial lining (guesing from the light periods..since i was not monitored)...no luck yet but hoping to get a BFP soon....

I've only been ttc for 3 months. Always had regular periods and never any issues. Used opk's this month and all tests were negative. What's my nxt step and will clomid help?
