Comment: Clear Blue Easy and Evap Lines

FYI...it is my mission to trash the above HPT.   I went through 3 of them yesterday that all gave me evap lines within the 10 minute testing wait. I was so flipping mad about this...the lines were so faint that I thought...Ooh...maybe!  

But now I'm convinced they were EVAP lines.  I will never never use this HPT again.  

These HPTs are liars...and I urge anyone who is interested in purchasing this to avoid using CLEAR BLUE EASY.

if the line showed up before the 10 minute period...why are you thinking they are evaporation lines? technically evaporation lines are just that...as the urine evaporates and the stick dries a line will show up. anyway i hope you get the bfp you are waiting for. try target brand...they have always given me accurate results even as soon as 10dpo.. did you test with another brand and got a neg?? how do you know they are evaps?

My girlfriend used one of them last night, and it did the same thing.  I wouldn't call it an evap line, but a line that would make the test positive immediately (very faint) showed, and dissapeared.  She was sooo dissapointed.  She almost ran out and to Walmart at midnight to get a First Response test.

I'm  90% sure evap lines.  

Yesterday bought First Response test and took in the PM...got a very very very very faint line.  It was skinny and not wide at all, so assumes BFN because around took HPT at 6 PM there was no line.  

Also took Dollar store test in the PM yesterday and it was BFN  ...clearly no lines.   Took 2nd First Response about 3 am and there was no line and about 6 am I took the other one from Dollar Store and it was a BFN as well.  

I've lost hope!!!

How many DPO are you?

I am 12DPO today.   Yesterday I was 11 DPO.   I know it's early, but for all intents and purposes shouldn't the HCG be showing up now.  I understand implantatin occurs around 8th day and then 4 days for HCG to show up.   I took another FRER about 15 mins ago and I got a very very faint pink line .   It was within the first 3-4 minutes that it showed up.   I'm sooo confused.  I wish it was either not there at all or darker.

if the line is there in the time alotted by the test...it is BFP...no matter how faint the line may be...don't lose hope just yet. from all that you have said, it sounds like you are pregnant. you don't just get all those faint lines w/o hcg in your urine. keep us posted.

I will keep you posted.  I just asked DH to go buy me a digital test.  He refused...he wants to wait until I get AF on Saturday.  

It would really be a miracle if I were.

I truly understand what you are going through. Because I have been doing the same thing as well. I am due for af on 2/8 so I am praying for luck as well. I m/c jul06.Waited the 3months after the d/c, before ttc. Now that me and my dh are in the 3month of trying, so like I said praying for some luck too. Because I am spending all my money on hpts.
