and her Dr says that she needs to get moving on ttc if she wants to have children. I know that it is possible, but the exact chances, I am unsure of. You may want to contact your Dr or get a referral to a RE so they can give you more information, specific to your case.
I found out I have a fibroid back in Oct 08 but RE says it is very small and shouldn't have much growth or affect my ttc.
So, I try to limit my caffeine intake and eat more healthy as I know that some things you eat can aggrevate those suckers and we do not want that as they already have a mind of their own...
Thank you very much for your reply. I am believing for the positive. My doctor is positive especially since I was able to conceive before. I don't want to wait either, so he's advising us to begin trying in 6 mos. I wish you and your sister-in-law so much baby dust and all the best in the world.
That's a good idea to watch what we eat, don't want any setbacks. I'm glad to hear your fibroid are not large. I'm sure you will conceive really soon.
Do you mind me to ask how big and location of your fibroids?
My biggest one is 5-6cm and about serveral small ones from 2-4 cm on the wall of uterus. None of them torth into the uterine cavity. Some doctors suggest me to have surgery, and others don't.
I could not make decision. I'm trying my first child, and recently got 2 ectopic pregnancy thru IVFs.
Any advices?
Thanks
Hello, of course I do not mind. Not sure of the diameters. They were within my uterus They were large fibroids and when I conceived they got even larger causing excuriating pain for me and the end results losing my little angel. It's because of God's grace that I did not have a hysterectomy. I know he has plans for me so I'm definitely looking forward to conceiving and delivering a healthy bouncing baby. I truly desire to be a mother.
In my experience, you would want a safe environment for your baby. If they are really small, chances are they may never bother you but every woman is different. I switched doctors because the original one I had, made it seems like, "oh, lots of women have fibroids and have a healthy baby and If they are not bothering you, we'll leave them alone." She's right, many women do but many women have miscarriage because of them, also. I believe she should been advising to remove them. I realized I have the final say, but I did not know they were as larger as they were until I changed doctors and I am so elated I did. I love my doctor.
My prayer is that you make the right decision for you. Much baby dust to you!
thank you so much.
I did have 1 m/c at 6 weeks and 1 tubal pregnancy and remove right tube at 7 weeks just 3 months apart. However, doctor could not find the baby in my uterus on the first one either, and they assume I both have ectopic ones. So I wonder about my fibroids cause the wrong place to implant. Doctors said remove fibroids may cause the scar tissue and prevent to conceive that's why I'm worry. I'm waiting to see the third sepcialist because the first one is neutral, second one said leave them alone.
Best regards.
Hello, I just wanted to add a little encouragement if I may. I had surgery this a year in February for fibroid removal (myomectomy). I am now 8 weeks pregnant! I lost a baby last year September from pre-term labor, I believe the fibroids played a major role in that loss. I just want to encourage all woman and let you know that it is possible, anything possible with God as the center of your life. We have 17 year old son and he will be graduating next year, he is so excited even though he is older. He will be a blessing. My OBGYN did the myomectomy and coached us on how to get pregnant. After following her instructions I was prgnant three weeks later. So don't give up, Give it to God and let him direct your path.
