Confused Provera, Spotting, and Clomid....Help

Confused Provera, Spotting, and Clomid....Help

Some history...I have not had my period since September. I was given Provera last month and it did not work. I was then given a stronger dose and my last pill was on Saturday. I have been spotting very heavily (brown and thick, sorry TMI)for the past 3 days where I needed a tampon to protect my clothing...but have not gotten any "red flow". I am supposed to take Clomid 3-7. I am wondering if I should consider this heavy spotting my period. I have been feeling crampy for the last several days like this is my period. I have called my doctor and left a message for the nurse to tell me what to do, however, the doctor is away on vacation, so i'm not sure if she will even call me back. Just wondering what you would do? Would you go ahead and count this as a period or would you wait it out? I am currenlty on day 100 of my cycle and getting really frustrated! I don't want to miss my window and think that this may be it. Help!

That's kind of a confusing question, because my doctor always says that the first day of RED flow is day 1.  I would wait until you get through to your doctor to start the Clomid.

Hi it happened to me this cycle. I started having these brown discharges exactly 1 week after taking the last provera pill. Two days it was like that , and even i was confuded what to do. I called up my doc, and she said wait for the full flow to start. And on the third day of spotting, i had full flow by afternoon. So dont worry, af is having a bit of starting trouble. Since its your 100th day, for me it was 60 plus. I think for such long duration, af starts like this.

Wait for 2 more days, I hope you will get the full flow. I took clomid from day 3.
