Confusion TTC

okay my situation is strange... i have been TTC~ing for about 5 months with my partner and only the past 3 months my AF has been regular as clock work... when they started to regulate.. we started trying with calender form... just small things to start.. charting my ovulation day's and fertile days... but this month has been weird... i am 4 DPO and not due on my period for 10 day's and i am having severe cramping followed by severe bleeding. and i mean severe also have lower back pain sore breasts and headaches with hot flushes i know i may only have been TTC~ing for 5 months and may not know much but surely this isn't normal.. can anyone help or suggest anything to try... i am at my whits end with worry :(

For such symptoms the first possibility that should be ruled out is of an inevitable abortion. You can confirm it by getting your HCG levels checked.In case of pregnancy loss,the value of HCG will return to a non-pregnant range(<5 mIU /L) about 4 - 6 weeks after a pregnancy loss. Other method of confirming whether you had a miscarriage is by getting ultrasouind uterus done. This will differentiate the cause of this bleeding as bleeding due to pregnancy loss or intermenstrual bleeding.
