Could I be pregnant?

On March 21 I had my period (my cycle is usually between 25 -28 days).  On April 2 my husband and I had sex and he came inside me.  I am not taking the pills, so within an hour of him coming inside me, I took Plan B. I was expecting my period to come a few days to a week after taking Plan B, however, it came today (which is just about when it would have been due had I not taken the Plan B).  

I keep wondering if I am pregnant;  I am not experiencing any pregnancy symptoms, at least, nothing is happening that I don't experience when I am having my period. But, I still keep thinking that may be I am having 'implantation bleeding'.  I am not seeing anything out of the norm;  it's brownish red and light, which is how it is most times on day 1.

My question is, after having taken Plan B so soon after intercourse, is it any at all possible for me to become pregnant?

I don't think you're pregnant, especially since you seem to have started your period. Implantation bleeding does happen to some women, but it's not that common. And since you also took Plan B, I think it's just your period.

Plan B is an emergency contraceptive that should be used after unprotected sex; Plan B acts primarily by stopping the release of an egg from the ovary (ovulation). It may prevent the union of sperm and egg (fertilization). If fertilization does occur, Plan B may prevent a fertilized egg from attaching to the womb (implantation).
