Could my miscarraige(miscarriage) have been caused by undiagnosed chlamydia

I recently had a miscarriage the foetus stopped growing at 6 weeks and I began bleeding at 7 weeks.  The hospital gave me a booklet to read to help me understand the situation and one section mentioned that stds such as chlamydia can cause miscarriage.  I havent had many partners but I have had some I am committed to my current partner however he had numerous sexual partners is it possible that one of us has this and that this is what cuased the miscarriage or was it just one of those things.  I have had successful pregnancies in the past.  Also I am 39 was my age a contributing factor to the miscarriage.

There really is no answers for early m/c unfortunatly. Most of them are cause by some type of genetic abnormality, somthing in cell devision not matching up perfectly. I'm sorry for your loss :(
