Cramping 2 Days After 5 Day Embryo Transfer

I've just been through my second round of IVF (with ICSI). I had my first round last October in England, which unfortunately didn't work. This round seemed to be going so well...I produced 30 eggs, 13 of which fertilized. 3 of the embryos were really good on day 5, so I had them transfer all of them (the others weren't suitable for freezing, which is upsetting). I had the transfer on 02/10 and yesterday I started getting light cramps. They seem to be sticking around today also, and yet they're so light, I wonder if I'm just imagining them. I swear this waiting is making me crazy! Can anyone please reassure me that these cramps don't necessarily mean I've lost the embryos and there is no hope?

I too experienced the cramping and was quite nervous.  All in all it resulted in a BFP to start.  The end of my story was different, but you're fine.  During IVF our bodies and ou minds go through an aweful lot of stress.
Good luck to you!

Emma...  I did 2 IVF cycles and also transferred 3 embryos both times.  The first resulted in a m/c.  I am now 21 wks pregnant with a little girl.  I experienced the same cramping you are having.  It felt like I was going to get my period and I was so sad b/c thought it didn't work.  It is perfectly normal.  Our bodies go thru alot with IVF.  I know it is hard but try to relax - stress is not good.  I hope you get that BFP you have worked so hard for...:):):)

My re told me it could have been my ovaries that was causing the cramping, because they had been so stimulated. They are alot larger than usual and can take some time to goes back to their usual size. Good luck!!!
