Cramping since Embryo Transfer - am I normal?

Cramping since Embryo Transfer - am I normal?

I'm in the 2ww - on IVF cycle #3. Had two top quality 4 cell embryos transferred on day two (wed 14th) - day two because they were the only ones that fertilized out of 10 eggs collected :-( anyway, I've been having LOADS of period pain cramps ever since the day after. literally almost constant - I feel exactly like the day before I get AF. I am SO worried as my last cycle I had cramps just like this and ended up with a full heavy period just 6 days after ET losing my womb lining, while one of my embryos was growing away in my fallopian tube.

I'm so worried that this is all going horribly wrong again. The only thing different this time is that I insisted that I get put on more progesterone support - managed to get them to agree to 1 x Crinone + 2 x 200mg Utrogestan daily - I still worry that this is not sufficient though. My clinic do not do ANY blood test for progesterone or estrogen levels after ET. Also I understand that oral Utrogestan is not fantastic for luteal support as it gets absorbed by the liver or something rather than getting to where it's needed.

Anyway, sorry for the really long post - but any help or advice would be great! thanks

I went through a very similiar experience with my ET back in August and wound up with a BFP. I swore my period was coming and my lower back pain was nearly unbearable! I just knew something had to be wrong, but now I am nearly 5 mo pregnant.
Try not to worry too much and let your body do what it is supposed to do.

As long as you don't have OHSS then you are fine. Drink gatoraide and lots of water to help just in case.
Best of luck! :)
