gel suppository? I have used Prometrium (orally) in the past; however, my new OB would like me to try Crinone 8% being that it is absorbed directly where it is needed. I am curious to know if any of you have had experience with it. Are there any side effects? Do you experience a discharge
Yes, I have used Crinone a lot and am now taking it. The only side effect I have gotten is some stomach upset in the mornings(I take it at night). There is some discharge
so I wear a pantyliner at night. It is a good medicine to use since it is absorbed right where it is needed just like you said. I know that it is expensive if your insurance doesn't cover it but so are all fertility meds. It can be messy but it isn't bad. You just feel like your wet sometimes due to the Crinone, but if you wear a pad it isn't bad. I think it is worth it to take it rather than an oral pill. Good luck!
on it - wear a pantiliner. The worst parts for me was the excess tiredness (it was bad) and the "chunkiness" of the leftover stuff. It was NASTY! I would have to dig it out of there everyday just because it was soooo gross! It looks like the worst yeast infection EVER!! It never made me sick or anything, just the icky leftover stuff and made me sleepyyyyyyyyyy. Good luck!
as previously mentioned so defintely wear a pantyliner. But not copoius amounts. Easy to use and I only do it once a day. No side affects other than sore boobs, but thats with any type of progesterone. It was pricey though, but so is everything having to do with fertility! Good luck!
yeah, it is expensive. Typically my insurance coverage is pretty good. For all the super expensive fertility meds, I've only had to pay a $10 or $30 copay per cycle, but with crinone, I have to pay $99 ever 18 days.
. At least it has an applicator. I couldn't tell which of the many drugs my side effects were coming from. I actually have some left over 2 boxes. 6 applicators per box. I paid like $400. (i had no infertility coverage) I was going to sell it for $100 if anyone needs some. message me. I am 19w preggo and don't need it anymore.
I have been using crinone for 4 weeks now, but when you speak of chuckiness discharge is that colorish or clear. i have a small pieces of discharge kind of light browness.every so often or after having sex. Also today i experience light blood spotting do you think this is due to the use of the crinone? If anyone know please let me know. thank you.
