Hi Beatrice,
Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours as well. Being a Canadian, we celebrated last month, but we are thinking of crossing the border to do some shopping on Friday - taking advantage of the deals!!!
Even though God did bless us with our beautiful miracle, I know what it is like to be in yours and so many others shoes, and I pray for you every night. I know God will bless you as well, as he sees how wonderful you will be as a mother. This infertility journey is a tough one, I know that first hand. I truly wish you lots of love and happiness and loads and loads of baby dust.

hope you ladies had a great Thanksgiving...I am now 11dpo and no symptoms so i poas this morning and bfn as I thought we will not ttc next month because I only have a tube n the left and I o'd from the right this month (each month you o from the opposite side) so I guess a month without meds and stressing will not hurt at all...I will be watching as I have done for the past few years as my 10 years journey of ttc continues on.

Hello Ladies,

I haven't posted for quite some time. I met the RE after failed IVF#1. They didn't have any answer to why it could have failed, but kept saying oocyte quality was poor but embryos were looking good. DH was very upset with that..if oocyte quality was poor then why did they go ahead with the cycle and we had to undergo so much of trauma...
Anyway we choose to go ahead with IUI..we also do not have enough funds for IVF and insurance does not cover. So now we have two factors DH's high DFI and mine poor oocyte quality. If my first bean could stick for 3 months then the next one would stick for 9 and come out healthy..that's what am living for now.

Waiting for AF now to go in for a scan to start IUI...

hey ladies have been off for a couple of days. The other day woke up at 3 am sick to my stomach and having serious pooping issues (tmi) went to the bathroom passed out hit the tub and broke my rib :-( I am still in the hospital !! wow what a way to take off a month of ttc. Came to the hospital and they said that I was suffering from severe dehydration (I had been sick 2 days prior to fainting). Yes, I told the dr. after being scolded I am a nurse and we always take care of ourselves last. I am feeling better today though...very tender in the rib area there is no treatment for it just to let it heal on its own and wear a rib binder.

I still have continued to pray for all of us even though I am in the hospital I NEVER FORGET ABOUT ALL OF YOU! God Bless! Sticky vibes and baby dust to us all!

Hello Ladies, It's been a very long time, some of you might remember me. I'm feeling kind of bummed out and I thought I'd drop by to get some positive vibes. I had a retrieval today. It is my 10th IVF (i think) and I've had at least double that in IUI's. I've had two miscarriages and two bio chemicals. (in the last four years) Anyway, I only had two follies this month and normally we would cancel IVF and do IUI but we didn't. I am thinking it's nearing the end for me. I think I get worse month after month. I am 39 and I used to get 12 eggs from a retrieval. I've been cancelling IVF's since April because of the follie count. So I guess I could safely assume, I am doomed. Anyone on the same cycle. I think I'm having my transfer on Thursday the 16th.

Congrats to all the positives and it's good to see some of you still trying, I know it's hard not to give up.

Dear..as long as you are vising this forum, you CANNOT give up! Easier said than done, please stay calm and keep up your spirits. We all know it takes just 1 egg and 1 sperm to give us our bundle of joy, so as long we have this never give up.

Wish you the best for your transfer.

For me am on CD20 and 5dpiui. I have frequent urination, not sure what to make of it, also had spotting 1 day after IUI and now again, its very light. I had hcg trigger on 16th and 17th.

We are both doing good.  I am almost 23 weeks.  Everything was perfect at our 20 week ultrasound and all testing (Down's, spinal bifada, trisomy) was normal.  She is weighing in the 90th percentile already.  She may slow down, but my son was 10lb 1oz so not holding my breath. :)

We just looked at baby stuff for the first time last week. Still haven't bought one thing.  I think I'm still having a hard time believing this may just happen.  I'm finally letting myself get excited.

So how are you and DH doing?  What is your next course of action?

Hi,
Thanks for responding. I was beginning to think no one was around anymore...
I did my transfer on day 3 (Dec 16th) and I put in a 9 cell and a 5 cell. Everything went well. My test is on the 27th. (two days late due to the Holiday) I am not really feeling anything worth mentioning. I am however very emotional. I've been having crying fits for the last two days..
When do you do your beta test...? How are you feeling? Was this your first IUI?

This new year seems to be showing some hope to me.

I got a BFP yesterday and the beta came back as 4210 today. Will be going for the first scan next Friday. Fingers crossed now.

Hope everything works out fine for all of us this year.

Ladies..I need your help and support and good wishes again.
Had a scan yesterday, and all is not looking well. They could see two gestational sacs one of 6 weeks and another of 5 weeks and 1 day. But no yolk sac nor fetal pole and no heart beat, asked me to come back for a scan after two weeks. I called up RE's office, RE's assistant seemed to be little worried with the 6 weeks sac having nothing, asked me to visit on Monday. I am really nervous and devastated. I read several other posts here in which heart beat showed up after 7 or 8 weeks, but that is still not reassuring me.
I don't know what GOD wants! :(

Thank you both for keeping me in your prayers, and the prayers stand answered! I met the RE on Monday with my scan report and even she said nothing can be done but just wait and see. I just happened to tell her that an abdominal scan was done and not trans-vaginal scan. She was surprised to hear that and immediately did a scan in which only one sac showed and then the yolk sac and the fetal pole and a nice little heart beat. I had tears rolling down when she made me hear the heart beat and also showed me my little bean.
The scan that was done at the center that I went was all rubbish. This is such a relief. Anyway RE asked me to get a scan done again after 2 weeks in which everything is visible very clearly and can be measured. I only hope this one sticks with me.

well we covered our bases today but not in "missionary" position its hard for dh that way due to his back. Im praying that still having sex on the appropriate days and laying still afterwards with my knees up does the trick!

Does anyone get preggo not having sex on your back? I hope so,

Lots of o pains today on both sides it was just the right yesterday.

Actually, may be TMI, but doggy style is supposed to be a very good way to get preggo. Apparently, helps them get there faster from what I've read. We made sure we did both with our lucky cycle. Good luck to you.

Okay +opk last monday and triggered bd'd Monday Tuesday and Wednesday...took hpt on Tuesday which was + (I always do to be sure trigger is in system) Yesterday hpt still +, today had progesterone done and hpt was - (1 week after trigger to be sure trigger is out that way the next + I see I know its real) Progesterone came in at a whopping 63.1. Not having and bfp signs but having small crampy feeling in lower abdomen hoping thats my little one(s) burrowing in for 40 weeks. I will be testing in 1 week if no af

all: progesterone came in at 23.9 had it drawn 1 day early due to work schedule and re said that is fine so now the wait really begins. Not feeling anything at this point no sore bb's or anything but praying that all is well.

re called and had me have my progesterone redrwan it made me nervous cause yesterday it ws 23.9 which know is good and today it is 32.8 so thats realy good. I was scheduled to have it drawn originally on today but thought due to my schedule I would not have time to do it. But I am 6dpiui and having no symptoms at all...just like this over all tightness in my stomach as if I have worked out or something. Not in the lowe abdomen but above the belly button as if I did 100 sit ups...I do get a few pains on the left (where I have no tube) nothing on the right (where I have a tube and the follie was 22 mm the day of trigger) not sure whats going on in there but I pray this works.

went to re's office this morning and as my luck would be all the larger follies 19 and 20mm are on the left side where I have no tube and the 12 and 16mm or on the right waiting on them to call not sure if I should go ahead with the iui if the larger follies are on the left or should I? I need advice. Due to my marital situation this may be the last month I ttc but I will always be here to support you ladies. I have been going through this 10 years now.

progesterone came in at 28.0 today did not do Ovidril this month or IUI did take Clomid thinking me and dh could get along long enough to cover that but we didnt...I had o pain Friday(slight) Saturday(hard) and Sunday(hard) all on left Friday no tube there both on Saturday and Sunday did not bd (2x's) until Tuesday so not looking for anything this month just keeping you posted...also dh and I are going to counseling on the 20th to see if we can even salvage our marriage.

afm hubby came by last night we spent hours talking and have an appt with a counselor in 2 weeks. He says its not that he does not want to come back but he wants to make sure that he will never hurt me like that agin...I told him that's an excuse. We did bd...this morning though ;-) I guess whatever it takes to get my little one but no meds this month. I had a + opk yesterday hopefully something will catch.
