Cycle day 8 question

Hi Ladies,
   I went in for my u/s today....doing an IUI probably this Friday.  They said that today I had 7 follicles...20mm, 16mm, 13mm, 12mm, 12mm, 11mm, and 10mm. I'm happy because I thought they they might trigger me tonight and do the IUI Wed...which would only mean one, maybe 2 eggs....intead they want me to come back on Wed for another u/s..and keep doing my repronex shots for two more days.  My lining today was an 8.7.  Does anyone know, just by looking at my numbers, how many mature follicles it looks like I may have by Friday's IUI?? I think that I heard that they grow 2mm a day....I'm not really sure what size they're mature.  I'd love to have at least 4 good mature follicles but I'm not too sure:)  Just want to see what you think...and if you think the smaller ones will catch up to be mature.

Follicles grow 2mm a day, and need to be between 20-24 mm to be viable. So, it looks as is if they should all go up around 2mm each by then. Thus, that would put you at: 28mm,24mm,21mm,20mm,19mm,and 18mm, with four looking mature enough by far, and the other three pretty darn close. I think that it will just depend on your particular body's reaction to these repronex shots (I do not know if these are HCG shots?) and the borderline size of the smaller three.

I did 3 IUI and was told that follicles are mature at 16 although it depends on the meds you are taking and your doctors preferences.  http://www.fertilityplus.org/faq/iui.html.  They do grow 1-2mm per day.  So looks like the large follicle might be post mature but the others look great and my guess is that you'll have at least 4 mature follicles.  Best of luck.
