Cyst Question

I've done 2 cycles of clomid w/iui and, 3 iui with injectables and was due to start my first ivf cycle.  I've been on bc for the past 15 days and had a suppression test today.  I have a large 3.4cm cyst in my right ovary and an estrogen level of 579.  I now have to continue taking bc until Saturday, wait for AF and have ultrasound/bw on day 3 to see if the cyst is gone.  If it's not gone then I'm back on bc until it disappears.  Does anyone know how long it will take for this cyst to disappear?  I'm so disappointed and upset right now.  I thought I'd start my meds tonight.

I heard within one cycle.  I hope it goes away soon!

Thanks for the response.  I really hope that it's resolved soon.  I'd inject myself  20 times a day for a year if I had to but the waiting is just so hard.

The nurse said the cyst was producing estrogen and that they had been looking for a level below 50.

I "think" cysts usually resolve themselves within one cycle.  I'm not familiar with the estrogen level though, I don't know if that has to go down, and how long that takes.
I'm sorry you have to postpone things.
