Cyst and fertility

My husband and I have been trying to conceive since last May, unfortunately we have not been able to do so, my obgyn told me to wait at least one year after stopping bc which was May till getting fertility test and treatments, so this May, I was having some pain in my upper abdomen and went to my general dr and she told me to get an ultrasound and a trans vaginal ultrasound since I was feeling bloated, nausea and my period was light so she wanted to rule out pregnancy, well when the test results came back it said that I had gallstones and and ovarian cyst the size of a grapefruit on my right ovary, I walked out crying from that appointment.  So I had my surgery set up on May 26 and everything went well, actually my surgeon told me that once he was operating on my he notice that I has a cyst on my left ovary which was the size of an orange so he removed both of them and saved my ovaries and tubes, it turned out that they were benign dermoids. So we have been ttc for a month and I am not pregnant since I took a test that gives results 6 days or sooner :-(  I was wondering if anyone had a similar experience and how long did it take you to get pregnant?  I feel a lil bummed with a negative result :-(

are u ovulating.... I have cyst too and I am not getting pregnant either going on 8months :(....I get surgery august 5th to remove my cyst and check my tubes... did he check your tubes and uterus also??? also was husband sperm check??? keep me posted!!!
