Day 3 transfer?

Has anyone done a day 3 transfer and have it work? I got a call from my RE today and he wants to transfer all 3 of my enbryos tomorrow. None were rated well so he thinks it's better to put them in now as opposed to waiting. I was expecting a day 5 transfer, not this. Very concerned and worried that this means are chances aren't good. Looking to hear your experiences.

There are 2 ladies I can think of that are preggers from a 3 day... b74, and mariana101.  
I actually got pregnant on a 2 day transfer, but unfortunately miscarried.

I have a 4 year old daughter from a 3 day transfer.  We have done many cycles since then.  A year ago, we did a 5 day transfer, which failed even though the embryos looked amazing.  We recently got a BFP from a 3 day transfer.  The embryos from both of our day 3 transfers did not look "amazing", whereas the day 5 ones did.  You NEVER know! My doctor told me that he has seen pathetic looking embryos end in healthy pregnancies.  Try to stay positive (how easy is that for me to say?!).  I hope this helps.  Good luck and keep us posted!!!
