Decidual bleeding or wishful thinking?

Hi, I've been trying to conceive for 5 months. My cycles are 28 days, and I ovulate of day 13 or 14 of each cycle. I had a physical exam on 10dpo and my physician noticed that my uterus was enlarged. I took a home pregnancy test on 12dpo and it was negative. On day 14, I started what seems like my period. I still feel pregnant. Could this be decidual bleeding or is it wishful thinking?

If your test is negative it probably means you are not pregnant.  However, if you have lingering questions it wouldn't hurt to take another test to be sure.  Good luck!
