Did I miss O? Worried!

I'm on my first round of Clomid.

My RE told me to do OPK beginning on cd 9 and BD on the day of my surge and the next day.

AF lasted for 15 days this cycle!!!

I had EWCM for 2 days and did OPK but it has been negative all this time.

I started out using FRER OPK but Tina said she doesn't trust those and I trust Tina :0) She recommended the CBE digitals but those keep saying no surge, too.

I think my CM is starting to dry up as of today.

We BD last night, but I'm really worried we may have missed O.

Anyone know if O can happen when CM is starting to dry up or is it pretty much done when that happens.

I don't do BBT, so I don't know if my temps were down or not.

I just don't want to have screwed up this cycle.

The one year anniversary of losing our baby at 20 weeks is tomorrow and I don't need something new to make me sad.

With clomid I O'd always several days later than in an unmedicated cycle.  I hope you did not miss it!
Your ob can use u/s to determine whether you O'd.

Hi Helen,

I'm not sure I missed it. I still have CM, although it's more watery and not so much egg white-ish. I have cramps so I think I might be O'ing now. We will BD just in case and I will keep doing the OPK's and see if they change.

You know, I had very little cm when I was on clomid.  Normally I never have that problem.

Hmmm I think I read that some women's CM dries up on Clomid. I had forgotten about that. Tina said she doesn't like FRER OPK's but the line with those started getting darker a couple of days ago and then I switched to CBE digis. I think I will do a FRER OPK in a few minutes an see what it says. I'll let you know...

Okay, so now I'm thinking I already O'ed? The line on the FRER OPK was getting darker 2 days ago and now the 2nd line is barely visible. The CBE says I'm not O'ing either. God I hope when we BD last night that was enough. I'm really worried now.

I am so sorry about all this stress.  I missed O once or twice and that is always so devastating, especially on a clomid cycle.  What does your BBT say?  Is your BBT up???

I just wanna share my experience with Clomid, I started Clomid in June my O on day 14 and not preg yet. Last month was my second round of Clomid on cd5 to cd9 (my period started on July ) I have been checked OPK since cd 11, on July 24 it seemed visible both lines, but it was a little bit lighter that the test line so I didn't think that was my O, and I kept testing until 26 no LH surge:-( I also use ferning technique by microscope, testing from my saliva, it did not show that I had ferning-like that day, until July 26 it was big ferning  from saliva. So we BD since July 26 to 28. I think Clomid may causes unstable of my ovulation. I don't have any EWCM this month. But anyway keep your chin up. This is my 2WW now, Good luck Sue.

What cd are you, Sue?  What days did you do Clomid? 5-9? When did you start the opks? Cd9? What day was the darkest?

I o'd earlier on Clomid, but sooo many o later. It didn't affect my cm at all, but again sooooo many women it dries it up.

I was using the FRER OPK, and the doc told me to switch to CBE digital (smiley face positive) I also have the CBE monitor, so we are double watching cuz I've been having months where i have no surge, I havn't started Clomid yet, Doc wants to have secure baseline info first to dx me. But just wanted to let you know my doc. agrees with Tina too! Good luck ALSO... I never did BBT and when I saw the RE for the first time a few days ago, he highly recomended! Its easy get you a thermometer girl ! LOL :)

I did Clomid cd 5-9 and I'm cd 20 tomorrow. The darkest lines I got were around cd14. I had EWCM on cd15 and didn't BD until cd16 and 17. Did I totally screw this cycle up? Could we have possibly timed it ok? I was so focused on getting a pos OPK that I slightly ignored my CM for the first time. I'm so nervous that I screwed up this cycle I could just cry.

You O about 24-48 hours after your LH surge, 36 hours average.  So, if you surged between cd 14 and 15 I think you should be OK.
