Did anyone get pregnant after their first iui??

Hello All!  My husband and I have been ttc for years now and have never used any form of birth control while with my husband.  We have been together for almost 8 years now and will be married for 4 years in April.  We went through all the fertility testing and everything looks great for us.  My tubes are open, he has a high sperm count, and his sperm did break through the hamster egg.  The only problem is his swimmers are a bit slow...not to slow though.  I have been taking 50mg clomid days 5-9 and had my first sono on day 12.  They saw 4 eggs all measuring 19+...the biggest being 22. 3 on one side and 1 on the other side.  Received my trigger shot as well.  I had my first iui yesterday and we are soooo excited.  The nurses said they havent seen such great looking sperm under the microscope in a long time, they were moving quickly too -- :).  The next two week are going to be sooooo long.  I am ready to know now if it worked.  Anyone out there in my same situation?????  I'm bloated, cramping bad, dizzy at times, and have a mild headache.

I just had my IUI this past sat. and i want the 29th of this month to get here so i can find out if im prego. This waiting is unbearable.

I want to know if u got pregnant. I am taking Femara and trigger shots, my follicles have been too small in size, dr said he wants to see Biggs follicles. I just don't know what's going on. I have polysistic ovaries and one tube is blocked. I don't know If iui will work for me. Just so stressed and confused. The dr will take me in for the iui when he sees big enough follicles.
I'm so frustrated.

I am so tempted to try everyday till my AF. I am expecting my AF on the 16th. I think I am going to test again tomorrow.

Today all day I had a strange feeling in the intersection of the groin and thighs on left side. I had that feeling on the right side yesterday. I have similar feeling on my right when I am ovulating. I am sure that I am not ovulating now so has anyone else experienced similar pains?

Will let you know if its positive or negative once I test again. Fingers crossed!

Keep your head up! Stay positive I just got my results, and we have BFP, so I will continue with blood work through out the week. I will be praying it works for you and all above. Lots of baby dust!!

Today is my 13th day post IUI. I have not had any spotting so far and I did test yesterday but it came out to be negative. Not sure if the results will change if i test in the next few days.. Feeling a little disappointed. I was positive so far but now i dont know why but seems like nothing will happen.

Today, Sunday 9 days piui, I have had some spotting. Tommorrow I have my pregnancy test done at 9am. We will see what happens.

hello ladies, I went through IUI last weekend 10/2 & 10/3 here's the weird thing about my situation:
I had a cancelled IVF bc my follicles didnt grow..I did 11 days of medicine then cancelled bc 1 follicle was at 13 and 3 under 10. so my period finally starts after 33 days i go in to test blood and ultrasound last fri 10/1 and i have 1 follicle at 26 and 1under it at 13 so they test my urine and i test positive for high LH..so they call me to tell me the dr. would like to try IUI crazy ! I go back and they give me the trigger shot so that i will ovulate . the next day sat I do IUI and sunday I do IUI..now today is sat 10/9 and I had this weird discharge almost yellow /brown( and it smelled) and some spotting..so I call the Dr. he says not to worry but if it doesnt go away by monday to come in. now has anyone ever tried IUI after a cancelled IVF and technically in the same cycle..? the nurse said spotting couold be a good thing that maybe the egg is attaching..would love any and all advice ..many thanks

All the best to you! I wish i could test on Monday too but it will be just 13 days post IUI o for me and I dont know if that will be too early to test. So just waiting for the 16th ( day i usually get my periods)

I am new to this forum, I am 7 days piui, I will have my preg test on Monday the 11th, 3 more days!! This is my first IUI and I had one mature follie. I have PCOS and one blocked tube. I did 150units of menopur for 5 days then HCG shot 10k. GOOD LUCK TO ALL!

Hi ladies,
I just wanted to say hello. I have been reading through this forum and hoping to see good results soon. I had my first IUI 4 days ago. I only had one mature follie :( I have read that it happens though. I am going for my blood work Tues to see if the little eggie dropped.
Talktomutch: My dr has told me that high progesterone usually means that more than one egg released so that is a good sign. I have gotten progesterone tests over 40 though and still got a bfn. Good luck to you.

Hope you guys have some good news! Its already 8th October. I also had my first IUI on the 29th Septmeber. today is my 10th day post IUI. I have no symptoms except that my breats are soar. I was just reading through the forums and thought will leave you guys a note. I am too curious to test in a day or two but i am not sure its a good idea to test this soon. My doc has told me to test on the 13th Oct and that seems far :).

So thankfully the receptionist was at the office yesterday she said my bld work said I released the egg and my progestrone level was 74.49! Now I have no clue what that means.
I can't wait until oct 1! I have always been so regular I just pray I am preggers or I get my dam period cause 2 weeks is so long I can't wait. Keeping my fingers and toes crossed for you!

I took Ovidrel as well.  The waiting and wondering is definitely consuming my life right now  Aghhhh no fun!  I cant believe you fell asleep--silly! haha and the wait continues until Monday! Let me know what you find out Monday.  :))  So exciting!!!!!!

Yes I have such sore breasts. I never have that before but someone said it is from the ovidrel( not sure how to spell ). The problem is I am analyzing every little symptom! Ahhhhh it is driving me nuts! I had only 1 egg measuring 21 and 3-4 more 15mm or so! Today I went fir bld work to see if the egg released but fell asleep and forgot to call the doc! Oops now I got to wait til Monday! PleAs keep me posted sending you more baby dust!

I had my 1st  IUI 6 days ago this 2 week waiting period is killing me too! Sending you lots of baby dust!!!!!!! Oct 1 seems so far off! I will be thinking of you !

How far along are you?  I am soooooo hoping to be pregnant the first time.  How many eggs did you have?
