Digital vs Basal Body Thermometers

Opinions?
Last month I charted w/ a regular digital one (since my bbt was m.i.a. then recently found). It giave 4 #'s. So, my temp on it is 97.56*.

This month, I am charting with the bbt thermometer. It gives 3 #'s. So, my temp today was 97.7*

Which is better to use? They have never matched each other temp wise. Pop em in same time...turned on same time....not even an inch apart...I don't get it.

What one would you trust/use? They were both purchased in 2003-2006 span of time.

Thanks for your thoughts...baby dust to all!

That's interesting. It's usually the other way around. Regular thermometers usually just have one decimal, while the BBT ones have two. But either way, just stick with one of them. It doesn't really matter if they are a bit off from one another. As long as you stick with one, you'll still see the rise after ovulation, which is what's important. Best of luck this month!

Hello, I would go with the BBT. The BBT is a little more sensitive when it comes to measuring your temp accurately. good luck
