Discharge

I am having a brown discharge i went to the doc they told me I had a urinery infection and a slight yeat infection they give me SMZ/TMP DS 800-160 TAB  to clear up the infection the brownes discharge  has a strong ordor it smells alittle like blood, fish,or fece. It started aug 17 and it is still the same now. I need to know what is causing this and if the medicine is causing it. Am not pregent but I have had may period for spet.

I just got my mirena placed in a week ago and since ive gotten it I've been experiencing cramping and smelly brown discharge... Is that normal??

i just got the merina put in a week ago and ever since i got it put in i have had the worst smelling discharge ever. im actually going back to the doctor tomorow and see about getting it taken out.

if you have a merina iud, then that's the culprit!!! had mine for almost 1 year and I have to wear liners even when I am not on my period and I get a brownish discharge and it stinks to high heavens....freaking ridiculous, this iud should be recalled....does doctors read these comments????they really should.

the discharge is probably from the infections.  Probably a combination of the uti and the yeast infection.  But, some antibiotics can also make things change and smell differently.  Call your dr. back if you're still feeling like something isn't right.
