Do trigger shots always make you ovulate if you have a mature follicle?

I triggered when I had a 20 mm follicle.  Just wondering..is ovulation assured when one uses a trigger shot?

I don't wanna say always (because there is always someone it didn't) but 90% I would have to say it does. I know I O'ed late one cycle, like 2.5 days later...think I had small follies though (which I didn't know UNTIL I got a hold of my medical records - she trggered me before my E2 was even decent - UGH!) but I did end up Oing that month. So, if you had a 20mm - I would say you should be good to go :) HUGS!

Was just wondering the same, as i had 2, 20mm follicles that were triggered on monday.
