are picked only for best in multiplying cells. That does not mean they are tested in any way for anything. They very well can still be defective although Hopefully they are not.
IF ICSI was performed during IVF process, which is the testing of all chromosomes, is Blighted Ovum still possible? would they have seen an abnormality? We are 7 weeks and three days and still no sign of anything except a growing gestational
. There must have been an issue with your husbands sperm for them to go this route. This is not a bad thing. Many people do use ICSI.
As far as trying to detect a chromsome issue, there is no way to do this unless you pay for genetic testing prior to transfer which many do not do because it's very costly. Doing IVF is luck unfortunetly & just have to pray you get a good embryo
We had the genetic testing done! before the ICSI so all chromosomes should have been tested???? I do have a unusually shaped uterus it is shaped like a heart so I am hoping this is why they cannot see anything.....I have no miscarriage symptoms and I still feel pregnant, certain foods are making me gag, but not totally throw up? It is so weird...my chest is sensitive, I am dizzy alot......Our next ultrasound is this coming Monday so I am hoping for a glimmer of light....thank you for your response!
