Does Pre-seed work???

My husband and I are trying to conceive baby#2 and I have been experiencing some dryness.  I know that KY kills sperm, so we were told to try pre-seed.  we have not used it yet, but I just want to know if anyone has had quick, good luck conceiving while using pre-seed???

I am pregnant from IVF so the pre-seed didn't have a hand in that!  but my hubby and I use PS as a lubricant anyhow - before when we were trying to conceive and now -  we feel better using more of a ph neutral lubricant while i'm pregnant - We really like it and will continue to use it whether we are trying to conceive or not!  There's no irritation like there can be from other lubes and does not harm sperm so can be very helpful in TTC - especially if you tend to be a little dry.

I tried preseed a few times due to having hostile CM and very little.  Been ttc for 18+ years and even tried the fertile CM.   The past 2 months I have been taking 1200 mg of fish oil and found it produced better results and very fertile CM.    Are you using OPK's to be sure you are BD on the correct days and ovulating?

I "tried" it cuz I'm 40 now & have had 2 mc's, this past year & I though it can't hurt to try it.  But like I said my hubby is not a fan of it.
I am prone to "natural" as much as possible ( I don't even take over the counter meds!) But my RE said it doesn't make a difference.......IDK, maybe it does?????

pre seed has a less hostile ph than cervical mucus, so sperm stay alive longer.  it also helps separate the sperm from the semen.  if you had luck with ky why change.

My hubby HATES HATES it!  & I asked the RE about KY & he said as long as it didn't say "spermacide"  as an ingredient, it was just fine.
I conceived 6 times (3 babies) w/KY  So I don't know REALLY how much better preeseed is???????

I am not trying to use the pre seed as a fertitlity treatment... i just want to make sure that it actually does provide enough lubrication while not killing off the sperm.

We tried pre-seed a couple of cycles, but with no luck.  When I mentioned it to my RE, she said canola oil was a better choice (and cheaper!).

I tried preseed and it's not working for me... it's good to give you more moisture.. and does not kill sperm... but i didn't conceive through preseed...

I got pregnant when i don't use anything... how weird...

good luck
