Does starting a period mean I'm ovulating???

I started my period November 8th and I think I only actually bleed for 5 days I couldn're really tell if I bleed any on the 6th day or not and so far I don't I have noticed any spotting or pink when I wipe today which would have been day 7. I used to have 7 days periods when I would have a period and I had irregular periods which I only had every 2-3 months. This time I think I have only bleed for a total of 5 days. My OB/GYN put me on this hormone pill called Northindrone 5MG to help regulate my period and to help me get pregnant easier. Now I only had to take it one a day for twelve days out of each month. I took it the first month as directed and three days later I started my period. Then the second month I only took one pill and decided I wanted my body to regulate itself on its on and not use the hormone pills. Now, I had only taken the one pill and decided not to take it anymore and 5 days later which was November 8th I started my period again! Which REALLY surprised me!!! Because I didn't expect my period again for at least 2 months because that was how my body done. I don't think that the one hormone pill would have caused me to start my period 5 days later because I just don't think it would have been enough to make me start my period. Anyway, I'm hoping that my body with the help from God will regulate itself naturally all by itself and starting two months in a row has my hopes up because I want to have normal periods without the help from hormone pills and I want to have a baby. I am WAY overweight so I don't know if I am actually ovulating or not when I have started my periods these last two months. Since I started for two months in a row does that mean that my body is ovulating???
