Does your cycle become regular after taking provera

Hi , My name is nickesha and I just statrted provera today after not seing my cycle since march . I wanted to know after taking the provera for the 5days recomended if my cycle will come  normal.

Sometimes it does help to jump start your cycle, but that doesn't work for me. I do not get my cycle naturally and can only get it after being provera induced.

Same for me.... ever since I had surgery for endometriosis, and was on Lupron for 6 months to stop my periods... they haven't been normal since.

I have been on Provera for 10 days before, and within a week or so, I get my cycle.  If I don't ovulate, I can go 50 days between periods.  

Once you get a cycle, if you track ovulation, and you do ovulate, you should get a period on time, unless you are TTC.  

If you don't ovulate, chances are you won't get a cycle back again on your own unless you induce it using the meds.
