Dollar Tree EPTs

Dollar Tree EPTs

Does anyone know how soon you can use a Dollar Tree EPT? Same as FRER and other OTC EPTs?

dollar tree tests are very sensitive. they detect 25 (whatever the measurment is used in hpt's) which is very early. just make sure you read them in the correct time alloted or you could get a ghost line. as far as saying where in your cycle, its hard to say seeing as you would need to know when you o'd. and since everyones numbers go up at a different level hard to say. but at only a dollar you can start taking them early and you wont waste big bucks!! the only sucky thing about testing too early is the disappointment when it doesnt read positive. if you can wait until you are close to af-the better your chances at a one time shot-ending with a bfp!

I ovulated on the 29th, so when do you think I could do a Dollar Tree test?

I totally get what you're saying about waiting as long as I can, and I tell myself to wait so I don't drive myself nuts, but it's soooo hard! And I've gotten really, really good at driving myself nuts, so I figure I should perfect this wonderful skill I've developed!

oh your gonna have to wait a very minimum of 9 dpo even then if you are pregnant it might not show best bet is to wait until 2-3 days to your AF, even then its better to wait until your late(I know it sounds like a long time)

I usually don't get positive results from ept until I am 2-3 weeks after expected af.  I know that sound weird but that's how my body works.  Even blood test gave negative after implantation bleeding.  So everyone is different.

Yea.... I think I have a problem with taking too many... THEN, I spend AT LEAST five minutes staring at the test. After that, I  disassemble the test and hold the strip up to the light.. Maybe all of that plastic around the strip is making it where I can't see the pink line... Maybe I can see the strip better if I hold it up next to the halogen bulb..haha  That's what ya get when you've been trying to conceive for 2 years :P

Thats why you buy them from dollar tree!
SO you can test 3 times a day!
You could say I have a problem too, I think this is where our group meets.

The dollar tree brands test is more sensitive it picks up 25mu of hcg. The other brands start a 50 mu so its pretty sensitive.

i had the worst sickness, i took my test with me in the car once and then took it apart and looked at it in the sunlight thinking (hoping) it would change. lol. i am not a patient person if i want something haha. but the 29th is not enough time yet. if you fell pg on the 29th, and today is 4 days past,,,well its just not enough time yet for that little egg to implant and get enough hormone levels up yet.

My favorite is to test, wait 5 minutes like you staring at it,
Then I think If I tilt it to the right I can kinda see the line(which really is never there, confirmed later by my husband)
so Then I get on the internet looking at other positive pregnancy tests to somehow tell him hes wrong!
And the funny thing is, he always knows when I'm pregnant and I have no idea. Guess I have trust issues! And I am VERY VERY Impatiant, Guess you could call me a junkie!

Just wanted to let you ladies know that I took the dollar tree tests and discounted EPT and they were very accurate.  I don't know about the set time frame and all. Also, I had fertility issues for 2.5 yrs- kept telling obgyn something was wrong.  I went to regular dr and told her about the issues, and was sent to a fertility specialist who gave me and DH a few basic tests-in fact we only paid around 100.00 out of pocket for his test. I had a test called hysterosaline ultrasound which I would highly recommend for you ladies.  The dr was able to find 4 fibroids on cervical area which were blocking everything. If your doctor doesn't consider it fertility related, they may charge 300.00 or something like that, but mine was actually considered a health problem and were removed.  Guess what?  A month later I conceived! I also used several dollar tests just to make sure that was correct, and it was true. Also, not to give TMI, but I curved my pelvic area up after intercourse with a pillow for about 20 min and things occured. I think if you count exactly 14 days from the start of your cycle, that would be a good day to conceive as well.  Just thought I would let you know it really can work! You ladies are in my prayers, and I hope you get to have a LO very soon!

I got my BFP with a dollar tree test at 7 dpo.
But everyones hormone are different. I'd say atleast try to wait it out as long as possible. (harder said than done.)

Good luck!

I got a positive with dollar tree at just 9dpo. They are goooood. The line doesn't show up for a few minutes, and gets darker by 10 minutes after that.

I used Dollar Tree HPT's when I found out I was pregnant in April and I liked them.  My friend used them and I would laugh at her because I thought it's the Dollar Tree you get what you pay for until I used them myself. I have tried the Dollar Tree OPK's but did not buy enough to ever get a + but I will try them again. The only thing that sucks is that the Dollar Tree by my house only sells the HPT's have to wait to go into town to buy the OPK's from there.
