Doubts in irregular periods

I had a irregular periods problem .Doctor told me that LH value is very high.So doctor adviced to take ovoloc tablets ie.,ovalory tablets.After the course completion,the LH value is 5.Doctor told me that irregular periods issue has been solved.So doctor told me to have intercourse with your husband between 12th to 20th of periods date but unfortuately we were unable to do it.But we had the intercourse after 25th day of periods.The problem is till now i didnt get my periods(40 days completed).I am very much confused that Am i preganant or still i am facing irregular problem.

Hi there,

I have the same problem every month.  Were trying to conceive and as i have irregular periods every month i think im pregnant because my period hasnt showed up and the wamm day 40 she turns up! The best thing to do is to wait the length of the longest cycle you've ever had and then test.  If you continue to have cycles longer then 35 days you really need to be going back to your doctor because it isnt quite normal to have such long cycles, and if you are trying to conceive like me it does make it very difficult so all the help you can get is useful.
