Dr costs, medication costs, accupuncturist costs OH MY!

Does anyone else feel like they are up to their neck in bills due to IVF?  We don't have infertility coverage so we are paying out of pocket for everything. Between the meds and the dr's fees, it's nearly $15K plus I've also been seeing an accupuncturist weekly for the past 3 mos which is $100 a session. I am having her come to my transfer tomorrow and she just informed me it's $450!!! good lord. I keep telling myself it will all be worth it in the end!

In the same boat and I only have one shot at this. Plus I am doing PGD which is another $5k. If it does not work, I have to save up $20k for a donor egg cycle.

But adoption is about $35-40k so for now it is absurd that this is cheaper.

I just want to share that it's totally worth it. I did IVF three times, after the second one I was disappointed and wanted to give up.  Fortunetely my DH pushed me to a new RE and we are now expecting twins.  I spent about $13k per cycle- about $40K total and I don't see it as money waisted.  Car cost more than that- I'm an expectant mom of twins and it was totally worth it for me.  I wish you the best!

Same boat here!!!  So glad we got good new today that we will be hopefully doing 1 more FET cycle... if not... on to a 100% refund program w/donor eggs.   I am going to do acupunture starting 3 wks before transfer!
We are only down about 17,000 right now... but could be looking at much more!!!
I hope we all get our little angles from this!!
I keep teasing that our children will just have to get scholarships to college cause we spend all the $ before they were born! ha ha!
